KneeClap

Terms of Use

Effective September 27, 2026

These terms cover your use of the KneeClap apps for iPhone and Android, made by Quyen Dang ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your health comes first

Rep counts are estimates

The app counts reps from your phone's motion sensors. Counts can be wrong, for example if the phone is held loosely or the movement is small. Don't rely on them where precision matters.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Please don't copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, except where the law allows it.

If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these terms and Apple's agreement conflict, Apple's agreement wins for the App Store version.

Your data

How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury resulting from exercise, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
